Dear Jacinda

Dear Jacinda

I reckon that ponies should be able to come to school.
There should be a holding paddock at school and a nice lane beside all roads that only horses can go on so they don't get scared by big trucks. It is also helping global warming as there would not be as many car on the roads.

  1. Hello Alicia,

What an amazing letter, and a good proposal too! I like that you have thought practically about how this could work. By including a special lane on the roads, and a holding paddock at Schools, I think the ponies/horses would feel very safe.

If you could, would you ride your pony to school everyday?

And you are absolutely right, this would help fight climate change as well. 120 years ago, barely anybody used cars. People had to ride horses to get around, maybe we could learn a thing or two from our past, what do you think?

Thanks for sharing your letter to Jacinda, I hope she reads this, I’d be interested to know what she thinks. Well done Alicia, keep on blogging :)

    Beren
