Here are three ideas for raising funds in New Zealand.
- Organise a week long Pony Trek from West Coast through to Hanmer and charge people to go on it.
- Organise a fun day at the local lake for swimming and races.
- Organise a party for the town for everyone to come too. Donations from this would go to the Great Barrier Reef.

A suggestion for choosing one of your three fundraising ideas is that you think of who, what and when and for each event and then see which is easiest to do.

ReplyDeleteI really like your ideas for fundraising. You have come up with some good ones. I really like the idea of having a horse trek from the West Coast to Hanmer. This would be something completely different and really interesting for people to join.
How long would it take to do this? Would it be overnight?
You would have to get some horses for the people that didn't have them to ride. Wonderful idea.
A lake party also sounds like it would be a lot of fun to hold. You could have bumper boats and jet skis for people to ride. They would pay to go for a ride on them.
Excellent ideas, I am sure you would raise a lot of money for this great cause.
