Amelia Earhart
Was born in America
Amelia crashed into the sea 
She tried to fly around the world

    Hi Alicia,

    Well done on your blog post. I can clearly see the similarities and differences between Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. Being a Pilot in the early 20th Century must have been so exciting and scary.

    How long do you think it would have taken Jean Batten to fly from England to New Zealand back then?

    I have been on planes before, but only as a passenger. Do you think you could ever fly a plane?
