Wise words of wisdom

My wise words of wisdom come from Mum's ponies whose name is Doofus.  Doofus says
"Someone else's hay is always better than yours."
"If you want something that you can't get fight for it even if you have to break something to get it."

This is Doofus in the house.

  1. Dear Alicia,
It's lovely to see your online comment. I guess you are saying something the same as the grass always looks greener on the other side. Your wise words tell me to be content with what I have. A great reminder on a wet West Coast day thank you.
I presume that is Doofus in the photo you have posted. Here is a hepful comment when you put a photo in your blog make a comment in your blog comment so that the reader links the blog comment and the photo together.

  2. Morena Alicia,

Thank you for sharing some pony wisdom with us. I did not realise Doofus had so many wise words to impart on us humans!

I can relate to what Doofus is saying about hay. Sometimes another ponies hay may look fresher, or tastier, but the truth is, it’s probably just the same hay.

We do need to be thankful for what we have, and it sounds like you are very thankful of the wonderful ponies in your family :)

I do have one question though, how did Doofus communicate this to you? Can you speak horse? If so, can you please teach me as I think this would be quite a useful skill.

    Until next time :)

    Beren
