Dear Alicia,
ReplyDeleteWhat great reading skills you have so that you can summarise and compare two different plants. Why is it the the Corpse plant only flowers every 40 YEARS? Could you post an answer so I could read about it on your blog, please?
Hi Alicia
ReplyDeleteGreat work with posting the pictures that go with this activity. You have done a great job. You have chosen two really interesting plants for this one.
When you think of most plants and flowers you think of nice smelling pretty things. But these two are just simply awful to smell. Seems quite fitting if it smells bad and it is called a corpse flower. The smell of a rotting plants is so bad and I assume this is what it smells like. I wonder why it smells so bad?
It takes a long time to flower also so I wonder how long will it live for. Obviously quite a long time.
Great work Alicia, keep up the great work. You are doing really well for a Year 3 student. I am impressed.
Until next time
Allie :)
