Cycle race

If I was in the Great Taupo cycle race my support crew would be:

Dad, because my dad is great with bikes.

Mum, because she is a good cook and she is great company.

My friend Jordy because she makes heaps of jokes and makes me laugh.

    Hello Alicia,
    Great choice of support crew. Taupo is New Zealand's largest lake, I believe. You might like to check to see if I have that fact correct by searching the internet. Someone with a sense of humour always helps when the going gets a bit tough.

    This sounds like a great support team! I like that you have thought about the skills and assets each person could bring to the team to make sure you have the greatest race you can!

    I think it is really clever having someone who knows there way around a bike on your team - I am sure a punctured tire would be no problem for your Dad?
    This is such a long race you never know what might happen along the way, Dad might be very busy!

    I like that you have thought about staying fuelled, I am sure your Mum will have great food for you to keep your energy up for the race - Is there any special requests you would have for food?

    Jordy sounds like a champ - nothing like a joker to keep your spirits up, specially if you are feeling tired. :)
    Do you think Jordy would bike the race with you?
    Myabe you guys could train up together for the Taupo race on day?

    This sounds like a bit of a dream team you have here Alicia! Great choices :)
